Front & Rear D Rescue Harness with Rescue Point
Enquire about this product

The Ridgegear RGH5 harness has been designed for fall arrest and confined space rescue applications.

The front and rear attachment points can be used as standard fall arrest points and the rescue strap can be used for lifting and lowering.

When used, the rescue strap keeps the operative in a near vertical position, which is preferred when recovering an unconscious casualty.

This harness is used throughout the industry in conjunction with a tripod (RGR1) and a winch unit to access confined spaces, vertical shafts, sewers and silos.

As with all of the Ridgegear harnesses, the RGH5 is suitable for use with fall arrest/recovery blocks. This harness is fully adjustable and is fitted with rip stitch indicators.

Rip Stitch

This simple but effective indicator, showing if the harness has been used within a fall. If an operative uses this harness at height, and unfortunately falls, the force can affect the mechanics of the harness. The rip stitch indicator detaches and shows if the harness has been damaged.
